Linda Ann (Ramsey) Rogers was born September 22, 1938 in Fairmount, Indiana to James C. and Mary O. (Riggs) Ramsey. Linda peacefully left her earthly tent and stepped into heaven on Saturday, December 31, 2022.

Linda grew up in Fairmount, Indiana graduating Fairmount High School in 1956. On June 8, 1958, she married the love of her life, Robert (Bob) D. Rogers at the United Methodist Church in Fairmount, Indiana. They made their home in Fairmount and later welcomed two daughters, Anne and Patricia. Linda worked in administrative roles for Farm Bureau Insurance, Taylor University, and Marion General Hospital while in Indiana.

Linda was a member of the United Methodist Church, a charter member of Phi Chi Epsilon Sorority – Alpha Alpha Chapter, and a charter member of the Fairmount Historical Museum.

In 1982, Bob and Linda moved to Custer City, Oklahoma where Linda continued her healthcare administrative work for Clinton Regional Hospital in Clinton, Oklahoma, and Weatherford Hospital in Weatherford, Oklahoma where she retired.

After her husband, Bob, passed away in 2005, Linda moved to Gas City, Indiana to enjoy time with her friends, family and grandchildren. She enjoyed volunteering at the Fairmount Historical Museum, her church, the Gas City Library, and helping her dear friend, Jeanna Jones at the flower shop. In April of 2022, as her health and memory were declining, she decided to move back to Oklahoma to a long term care facility to be near her daughter and Oklahoma friend, Toni Moore.

Those left to cherish her memory are daughter Anne (Rogers) Click of Gas City, Indiana; daughter Patricia (Rogers) Morgan of Canton, Oklahoma; Grandchildren Ashley (J.P.) Burns V of Grafton, West Virginia; Amanda Herrera of Phoenix, Arizona; Tyler Click of Whiteland, Indiana; Sarah (Ryan) Hackman of Boonville, Missouri; Emily Herrera of Vancouver, Washington; Great Grandson James Patrick Burns VI.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob) Rogers, her great grandson Zachery Ramsey Burns, her sonin- law Tim Click, son-in-law John Morgan, and her parents James C. and Mary O. Ramsey.

A memorial service is being planned for March of 2023 in Fairmount, Indiana to celebrate the life and friendship of Linda. The family has requested in lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Linda A.
