Leona Mae Miller, long-time resident in Clinton, age 85, passed away peacefully on Novem-ber 14, 2025 in Lake Charles, LA. Leona was born near Indiahoma, OK to Herbert and Minnie Lucus on September 9, 1940.

She married Claude “Buddy” Miller in 1962 at the Presbyterian Church of Burns Flat, OK. She attended school at Carnegie, OK; Vernon, TX, and graduated from Shamrock High School, Shamrock, TX in 1958. She retired in 2004 from the Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service. She was preceded by the death of her husband Claude, her parents, and three siblings. She is survived by her son Justyn Miller and his spouse Tammy.

She will be resting in the Miller family plot in the Clinton Cemetery.
