Visitation for Kurt Franklin Geswender was held at the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home Tuesday, December 8, 2020 and under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.

Kurt Franklin Geswender, 68, of Clinton, Oklahoma passed away peacefully with his wife Hoi Le Geswender of 42 years and his two daughters, Colby Le Geswender Wright and Stacy Le Geswender by his side on December 3, 2020.

He was born on June 3, 1952 to Harvey Eugene Geswender and Verla Elloween Kluver Geswender in Clinton, Oklahoma.

Kurt graduated from Clinton High School in 1971. Then joined the Army from 1972 to 1976. After the service, Kurt joined the family business Kluver’s Furniture and Appliances store and attended SWOSU with a Bachelor Degree in Marketing and Finance in 1980. In 1976, Kurt met the love of his life, Hoi Thi Le at Kluver’s. Her family were refugees from Vietnam and moved to Clinton by Ordell and Mary Kluver as the family’s sponsors.

Kurt was so full of life and joy. He was always teasing, laughing, being a smartass, and having a great time. He always felt so blessed and content with his life. He loved his family, and his friends.

One of the biggest joys in his life was being a father and grandfather. Colby and Stacy, his daughters were what he was the most proud of. He was an amazing father, who loved and supported the girls unconditionally. Kurt loved to spend time with his grandkids Max and Harvey, who gave him the nickname “Mo”.

Kurt loved to play golf and travel with his Golf Gang Friends! He valued his friendship and loved being around them.

He looked forward to coming to work everyday with Traci Heerwald and Luke Jenkins. His longtime best friend at Kluver’s was Simon Kreizenbeck.

Survivors include his wife Hoi Geswender of Clinton, Oklahoma. His daughter Stacy Geswender of Oklahoma City, OK. His daughter Colby Wright, and her Husband Marcus Wright of Weatherford, OK. His two grandchildren Max and Harvey Wright of Weatherford, OK. His brother Chris Geswender and wife Carolyn Geswender of Denton, TX., niece Katrina Geswender and nephew Eric Geswender and wife Ann, his aunts Ducky Donelson and Mona Myers, cousins Paul Kluver, Randy Kluver, Lance Donelson, Cheryal Myers, Valerie Myers Stephenson, and his beloved Golf Gang Friends.
