Keisha DeNae Stewart

Keisha DeNae Stewart, 36, formerly of Washita County, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025, in Pueblo, Colorado. She was born November 26, 1988, in Clinton, Oklahoma, to Russell and Teresa (King) Stewart.

Keisha was raised in Colony, Oklahoma, where she attended Washita Heights grade school before transferring to Weatherford Public Schools in the sixth grade. She graduated from Weatherford High School with the Class of 2007.

Keisha began working at Wal-Mart in Weatherford and, in 2014, transferred to the Wal-Mart store in Pueblo, Colorado, where she continued her career. She was a member of the Hammon Pentecostal Holiness Church, where her grandfather, Bobby Stewart, has faithfully pastored for many years.

Known for her vibrant and freespirited nature, Keisha had a deep love for life’s simple joys. She found peace and purpose in reading her Bible and coloring in her Biblethemed coloring books. She cherished time with her children and enjoyed fishing, hiking, gardening, art, geocaching, and attending medieval fairs. Keisha had a playful affection for Pokémon and had a special love for her unique pets—even her beloved pet rats. Her heart was fiercely protective of her brother and sister, and she was lovingly known by her father as his “wild card.”

Keisha is survived by her two children, Wyatt Dale Toler and Irie Dawn Toler, both of Weatherford, Oklahoma; her parents Russel and Teresa of Corn; her brother, Trevor Stewart and his wife Erica Danielle of Cordell; her sister, Taylor Danielle Caruther and her boyfriend Johnie Carey, and nephews Carson and Connor all of Macomb, Oklahoma; her grandparents, Bobby and Judy Stewart of Clinton, and Raymond and Kay King of Colony, OK.; her husband Samuel Archuleta of Pueblo, CO., and her faithful four-legged companion, Moose. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 12, 2025, at the Hammon Pentecostal Holiness Church, officiated by her grandfather, Rev. Bobby Stewart. Burial will follow at Red Hill Cemetery in Hammon, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Lee Hometown Funeral Home of Clinton.
