George Collier “Buster” Loving III passed away peacefully on December 21, 2023, at the age of 56 at his home in Rockaway Beach, Missouri. Buster’s journey began on November 12, 1967, in Clinton, Oklahoma where he was born to George Loving Jr. and Janice (Shepherd) Loving.

At a very young age, Buster enjoyed participating in the sports of baseball, football, wrestling and fishing. As he progressed through the grades, he began focusing on wrestling only and as a senior, became a Class 3A state runner up at 148 pounds for Clinton High School.

Buster discovered his love of fishing during his childhood at his grandparent’s farm northwest of Arapaho, Oklahoma.

He was able to turn his love of fishing into a successful living, becoming one of the most sought-after tour guides in the Missouri Tri-Lakes area including Branson, Forsyth, and surrounding communities. Buster was preceded in death by his father George Loving Jr., his granddaughter Addison Grace Loving; grandparents George Loving and Nadine Cross Loving, and Jim Shepherd Jr. and Betty Jo Shepherd.

He is survived by his mother Janice Shepherd Loving of Weatherford, Oklahoma; one son, George Loving IV and wife Lacie of Forsyth, Missouri; two daughters, Sydney Reardon and husband Robert of Branson, Missouri and Rose Loving of Springfield, Missouri; a brother Jimmy Loving and wife Jennifer of Ozark, Missouri; and two grandsons Owen and Jake Reardon of Branson, Missouri.

A celebration of life was held Thursday, January 4, 2024, at Sardis General Baptist Church in Forsyth, Missouri. His ashes will be spread on Table Rock Lake located in the Ozarks of southwestern Missouri and northwestern Arkansas.
