Funeral Services for Ellen Riley, 74, Clinton resident was held Tuesday, April 19, 2022, in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by Doyle Kinney. Burial followed in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.

Ellen Florence Riley was born September 29, 1947, to John and Helen (Maloney) Riley in Stillwater, OK and passed away Thursday April 14, 2022, in the St. Anthony Hospital Emergency Room in Oklahoma City, OK.

Ellen was raised in Leedey where she attended all 12 years of school and graduated in 1965. Ellen continued her education at Panhandle State College in Goodwell, OK and graduated with a bachelor’s degree. After her college graduation her first job was Peoples National Bank in Liberal, KS as a loan assistant for six years. She moved to Denver, CO where she worked for Chevron, USA, INC. and then American Ag Credit. In 1985 she transferred to Fort Worth, TX to work for Texas American Bank which eventually became JP Morgan Chase and worked as a loan closer until her retirement in 2013.

Ellen was a member of the Alpha Nu Sorority and loved to play Bunco. She was always ready to go when friends or family called. Such as eating out or attending special events. She also attended Weekly gathering for coffee and fellowship at the Free Will Baptist Church. One of her favorite pastimes was putting jig saw puzzles together.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and brother Terrell and sister Linda.

She is survived by her sister Carolyn Riley, Clinton and brother, Joe Riley, Hinton, Uncle Francis Riley, Duke, OK and Aunt Nadine Riley, Kamay, TX and a host of cousins and friends.
