Dorothy was born May 20, 1943 at Mercy Hospital in San Diego Ca. To Clarence and Virginia (Taylor) Bach. She passed away peacefully in Amarillo, TX Saturday July 13th 2019.

The family moved to Custer City, OK shortly after and made their home.

Dorothy grew up in Custer City, graduating from Custer Schools. After graduation she attended Aladdin Beauty School and received her Beauticians license.

In 1961 Dorothy married Don Grosland and had 2 children, David born in 1962, and Debbie, born in 1965.

In 1975 she married T.K. Clancy and made their home in Amarillo, TX, and he soon after adopted David and Debbie. While Dorothy was working for the Post Office she simultaneously earned her Bachelor Degree in Computer Science which led to a promotion to a Norman, OK, facility where she became a huge OU football fan. In total Dorothy worked for the Post Office for 42 years before retiring.

She was a very loving person with many talents such as singing with the symphony, playing the piano, painting, square dancing, sewing, as well as selling Mary Kay Cosmetics for 50 years just to name a few. She was also involved with being an advocate of troubled children in the Oklahoma area for many years. She lived a very large life and touched many people.

Her best friend and cousin, Jane, and her husband Ron Walker of Amarillo remained close until her death.

Dorothy spend the last year of her life living in the Abundantly Blessed Senior Home in Amarillo being taken care of by an exceptional group of people that loved her very dearly, including Pastor Ken Haney and Beverly Brown of hospice.

She is survived by a son David Clancy of Custer City, OK; a daughter Debbie Mullin of San Francisco CA; 2 stepsons Mark and wife Renia Clancy and Greg and wife Jodi Clancy, all of Amarillo, TX; Brother Frank and wife Glenda Bach of Custer City, OK; and sister Barbara and Chuck Daniel of Weatherford, OK; 2 grandsons, Temple Kris Clancy of OK City OK and Jesse Hodge of San Francesco, CA; 1 step grandson Jeremy Clancy of Amarillo, TX; 2 step granddaughters Baily Clancy and Lisa Terrell of Amarillo, TX; and 6 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her Mother and Father, sister Mary Mahan and brother John Bach.

Rosary service will be held at Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City, OK.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday July 20th at 10am at St Mathews Catholic Church Elk City, OK

Burial will be at The Masonic Cemetery in Custer City, OK, immediately following the service.

Ms. Dorothy will be so missed.
