David Lee Brown, a lifelong resident of Clinton, Oklahoma, was born on July 8, 1997, to Treasa Brown and Mike Freeman. He passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, in Clinton at the age of 27.

David spent his early years in Clinton until the age of four when his family moved to Bryan, Texas, where he attended school. At 19, he returned to Clinton, where he made his home until his passing.

David was known for his love of sparring and sword-fighting reenactments with friends, and his passion for collecting swords and knives. He enjoyed video games and found peace in nature, often exploring open land and walking along railroad tracks. He took pride in lending a helping hand, doing odd jobs for those in his community.

David was preceded in death by his grandmother, Delores Brown, and his great-grandfather, Audrey Rush.

He is survived by his mother, Treasa Brown of Clinton; his father, Mike Freeman of Kansas; his stepfather, Kevin Karr of Clinton; his sister, Audrey Harper of Bryan, Texas; and his uncle, Clayton Brown of Clinton.

Funeral services were held 1:00 P.M. today at Hyman Memorial Chapel, located at 1217 West Gary Boulevard, Clinton, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Lee Hometown Funeral Home. A private family burial followed.

David will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
