Dana Shawn Price was born on May 13, 1969 in Clinton, Oklahoma to Mark and Judy McAtee. She attended Clinton High School, and then went on to Southwestern Oklahoma State University to obtain a degree in Education.

In 1987 she met Jim, the love of her life and they were married on August 4, 1990. Jim and Dana built their life in Cordell, Oklahoma. In January of 1991 they started up their business of 33 years and counting, Price Prints. Dana taught school in Burns Flat for 5 years as she and Jim were getting the business started. Dana’s biggest life goal was to be a mother and was blessed with three children, Brett, Morgen, and Berkley. After having children she got to fulfill her dream of becoming a stay at home mom and devoted all of her days to raising her children. Dana was the best party planner and would spend months planning her kids' birthday parties and fun family nights. She loved watching her kids do anything and everything that they had interest in and was their biggest fan. Dana enjoyed hauling the kids and their friends around from place to place and was referred to as “Danas Taxi.” Dana was known for being the best listener and a wonderful encourager. She had a caring heart and had a way of making others feel good about themselves. She loved deeply and always put others' feelings above her own.

Dana enjoyed traveling with Jim, attending country concerts, a cup of coffee while reading her daily devotional on the back porch, reading stories with her grandkids on her lap, crisp October days, making her kids halloween costumes, laying by the pool, reading books before bed, long hot baths, rocking babies, planning vacations for her family, shopping for her grandkids, and even though she promised she wouldn't every year, going overboard on presents at Christmas. Dana viewed Sundays as family days and loved having her family gathered around her table each Sunday night. Anytime Dana was surrounded by her family, she was in her happy place.

Dana passed away on Saturday, March 30th 2024 surrounded by her family.

Dana is preceded in death by her father Mark McAtee and her brother Todd McAtee.
