Funeral Services for Charles Henry Howell, 77, of Clinton will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel.

He died Sunday, July 21, 2019, in Clinton.

Howell was born April 20, 1942, to Lois Dale and Lillie ViAnn (Muse) Howell in Tulsa. He was raised in both the Altus and Clinton areas and graduated from Clinton High School in 1960.

On Sept. 30, 1965, he married Elsie May Hes-son.

He worked as a mechanic for Harder Concrete and Lab Tech. He later drove a truck for Acme Brick and Circle S and retired in 2004.

Howell loved fishing, working in his garden, and being with his grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Bobbie Jo Mosburg; and a brother, Jerry Dale Howell.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; two daughters, Penny Howell of Del City and Ginger Woodall and husband Dusky of Foss; a son, Cody Howell of Elk City; five grandchildren, Sierra Harrington and husband Andrew, Baylee Howell, Riley Howell, Amber Holt and husband Kyle, and D.J. Woodall and wife Hannah; and five great-grandchildren, Madalyn Harrington, Payne Holt, Kalli Holt, Kimbre Holt and Melody Holt.

The service will be officiated by Lorraine Lerwick and Diane Harper under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 3:30 p.m. in the Fair-lawn Cemetery in Still-water.
