Graveside Services for Char Funderburgh, 88, Clinton resident will be held 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 24, 2021 in the Clinton Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Rick Robart and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.

Charlene Morelle Funderburgh was born September 22, 1932 to Charles Henry Edmison and Mildred (Edwin) Edmison in Okmulgee, OK and passed away Sunday February 21, 2021 in the Clinton Living and Therapy Center in Clinton, OK. Char’s dads work moved them over several states and she attended many schools but graduated from Roundup High School in Roundup, Montana in 1950. She married Kirby Funderburgh June 4, 1950. Mr. Funderburgh worked in seismograph and made their home all over the United States.

They moved to Clinton, OK in 1973 where they both worked at the Clinton Golf Course. They retired in 1993 and began to travel extensively and settled in 2002 living first at Clear Creek Lake until 2006. They then made their home back in Clinton and Mr. Funderburgh preceded her in death in 2012.

She loved to golf and fish.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a brother, Jay Edmison.

She is survived by two daughters, Dana Matlock and husband, Terry, Clinton, Diane Fields, Anadarko and a son, Charles Funderburgh, Clinton.

She is also survived by five grandchildren, 14 greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
