Funeral Services for Billie Speck, 96, Clinton resident will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2019, in the First Christian Church officiated by Jeff Villio. Burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.

Billie Speck was born August 27, 1923, to Billy and Thelma (Robison) Bruner in Oilton, Oklahoma, and passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2019, in the Grace Living Center.

Billie was raised In Salina, Oklahoma, where she also attended school. She moved to Idaho but later moved back to Tulsa, Oklahoma. She married Louis Speck who was then with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol and they made their home in various communities in Oklahoma. They made their home in Clinton where he was the Chief of Police before retiring in 1979. They traveled extensively but as failing health began to slow them down they settled back in Clinton.

She was a member of the First Christian Church; she enjoyed working in her flowers, she was an accomplished seamstress and loved to paint, and cook.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1998; one son, Gary Hollinger; and three brothers, Joe Bruner, Hobart Jameson and Pete Jameson.

She is survived by two daughters, Paula and her husband Verlin, of Weatherford, and Toni and her husband Ken, of Clinton; one son, Sam and wife Norma, of Tulsa Oklahoma; a daughter-in-law, Ruth of Davis, Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren.
