Alma S. Friesen

Alma S. Friesen, age 84, was received in her Savior’s arms on Sunday, May 17, 2020. Alma was born on December 24, 1935 to John and Sara Doerksen on a farm in Meade, Kansas where she was raised with her five siblings.

Ray and Alma helped found two churches in Edmond, Oklahoma and were both active in their church until their passing. They loved to travel, spend time at the lake, and Alma enjoyed cooking and hosting for their family. Alma also enjoyed contesting, jigsaw puzzles, strong black coffee, and watching the St. Louis Cardinals play baseball.

After Ray’s passing in 2013, Alma remarried Raymond (Lou) Weaver in 2018 and they cherished each other’s company for two fulfilling years. Alma and Lou also enjoyed traveling and spending time with both of their families.
