Alan Wayne McCormack (Mack) passed from this life August 26, 2022 at the age of 66. He was born June 28, 1956 to Archie and Vivian McCormack in Stockton, CA.

Mack started his law enforcement career in his early 20’s working at the prison in Granite, he later moved on to Clinton, OK to become a policeman serving as a K-9 officer for Clinton Police Department, then changed to become a deputy for Custer County.

Mack was a storyteller, he wrote stories for the Granite News and kept everyone entertained on Facebook.

Mack was the only sibling not born in Altus, OK. His siblings called him prune picker: But he quickly became a Sooner. He enjoyed his grandsons, seeing his friends, OU football but most importantly he loved his family. Mack said he will be sitting next to a river, drinking a glass of Fruit of Life.

Alan is survived by his daughters, Ashley and Shae Creswell, grandsons, Dayton, Harlee and Daron, Danny and Melanie Deaton of Weatherford, OK, brothers Steve McCormack and Wife Divina of Tonkawa, Doug Mc-Cormack and wife Linda of Granite, OK, sister Donna Hargett and husband Steve of Tupelo, Mississippi, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and special friends.

Alan is preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Vivian McCormack.

Memorial Services for Mack are scheduled for Friday, September 2, 2022, 11:00 A.M. at Lake Creek Baptist Church in Granite, Oklahoma. Chaplin Mike Hopper will officiate. Interment will follow at Granite City Cemetery.
