Norval Lee Keil of Edmond, OK passed away surrounded by family on June 25 th , 2021 at the age of 73. Norval was born in Bessie, OK on October 2 nd , 1947 to Homer and Eunice Keil.

He graduated Clinton High School in 1965 and joined the United States Army where he served our country as a combat engineer in the Vietnam War. He began his career as a tax accountant at Simmons and Dorsey in Oklahoma City and eventually started his own successful practice in Edmond, OK.

He held leadership roles in his children’s Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts troops and often took his young family camping. He was a skilled craftsman and took on projects such as customizing the family’s van, furniture making, and leathercraft.

He enjoyed travel and frequently visited his son in Oregon and his brother’s family in Kansas City. He had many good friends and was loved by all that knew him.

He was predeceased by his parents and is survived by son Christopher Keil of Hillsboro, OR, daughter Kellie Keil of Norman, OK, brother Don Keil and his wife Patsy of Kansas City, MO, brother Leroy Keil of Clinton, OK, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family would like to thank his best friend Gary Archer and the many caregivers who helped Norval in his time of need including Charlene of Brightstar Home Care, Leann of Heartland Hospice, Summer of Good Shepard Hospice, and the wonderful staff of The Timbers in Edmond, OK.

A graveside service will be held at 10am on Monday, July 19 th , 2021 at Memorial Park Cemetery located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
