Funeral services are pending for Gloria Washington, 66, of Clinton. Washington died Thursday, April 25, 2019. Services will be under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.

The City of Clinton Beautification Committee is seeking volunteers again this summer willing to adopt an area and maintain it, to help the City continue its goal of beautifying Clinton.

The person of interest in a couple of deadly shootings last weekend in Beckham County is no longer considered “a person of interest” – instead, he’s officially a suspect now and was expected to be charged late Friday or sometime Monday with two counts of first-degree murder.
