A rear-end collision occurred at 10:07 a.m. Wednesday morning in the Westbound Interstate 40 exit lane when the Toyota Camry, pictured on the left, allegedly struck the Toyota SUV that was waiting to turn out of the parking lot in front of it. The accident sent the SUV across the median and flipped around on the I-40 on ramp while the other vehicle pulled into the adjacent building’s (previously Long John Silver’s) parking lot. Fire Chief Brett Russell said his firefighters arrived on the scene at 10:10 a.m. and found that no one was injured in the accident.
