A bill authored by Rep. Anthony Moore (RClinton) granting civil immunity to restaurants and school cafeterias that donate leftover food was signed into law April 19 by Gov. Kevin Stitt. The bill allows for restaurants and school cafeterias to donate leftover food without the threat of civil liability, except in certain circumstances.

Pump station repairs set for golf course

The pump station remained a large cause of concern at this month’s regular meeting of the Clinton Golf Course Advisory Board after malfunctions with the system last month led to closures of the course which rippled through the golf community.
