Posting the colors

The Custer County Board of Commissioners approved a resolution and payment to the Association of County Commissioners of Oklahoma (ACCO) for insurance of county buildings during their regular meeting Tuesday. Commissioners also discussed ongoing road work across the county as they transition into the summer months.

Letting the good times roll

Pictured is the large group of Clinton High School Alumni in attendance during the CHS All-Class Reunion held Friday and Saturday evening. Approximately 800 alumni were in attendance Friday evening with more than 600 alumni attending Saturday evening.

A Custer City woman perished, and four others sustained injuries in a two-vehicle crash late Saturday evening five miles west of Watonga.

HuDost, dancers to kick off summer concerts

Clinton’s Levitt Amp Concert Series will kick off this Friday at McLain Rogers Park with a performance by HuDost, an electric-folk, world-rock musical duo. Also performing during the evening will be the Vasques Flamenco Dancers and Mariachi Orgullo de América. The concert will start at 7 p.m. and is free to the public.

FRIDAY DAY SHIFT Performed a pedestrian check in the 200 block of S. 10th St., arrested Gabriel Herrera, 21, on a Custer County warrant for application to accelerate on domestic assault and battery by strangulation and a Custer County warrant for burglary in the third degree and conspiracy.
