Vandalism closes children’s park

Earlier this month vandals went through the M.T. and Helen Gholston Children’s Park at Acme Brick Park and destroyed several pieces of playground equipment.

Landon Garth Farmer, 47, of Clinton, the victim of an alleged burglary which ended in a shooting June 24, is now wanted on various drugrelated charges including trafficking in illegal drugs after nearly 200 grams of methamphetamine along with illegal firearms were found in a search of Farmer’s residence during an investigation of the burglary.
