Three of four defendants in a preliminary hearing held this week at the Custer County Courthouse were bound over for trial when it ended, and one of them was ordered to begin serving a nearly seven-year suspended sentence he had received previously in another case.

Sarah Brown, officer manager for the Arapaho City Hall, said garbage rates quoted for her town in the Feb. 6 edition of the Clinton Daily News were wrong.

Annual community event nears

Combined preliminary hearings got underway Wednesday for four men accused in a bloody home invasion on Thanksgiving night, Nov. 28, 2019, in the 600 block of S. Eighth Street in Clinton.
