Compassion was on display during Tuesday night’s Clinton City Council meeting when a property owner was granted an extension to rehabilitate a property previously condemned.

According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, former Weatherford Parks and Recreation Manager Todd Earp, 40, was sentenced to 50 years in prison, with 15 years suspended, Monday at the Custer County Courthouse for 10 charges related to inappropriate behavior with two juvenile males.

The Clinton Public Schools Board of Education has a special meeting set for noon tomorrow to declare a hire for the superintendent opening.
