Adding some school pride

Last week, the Clinton City Council tabled taking action on a new rate structure for people hauling trash to the city’s public waste center on Glenn Smith Road. That is the location where both residents and non-residents take tree limbs, clippings, household trash and construction debris.

Convicted killer Tommy Dean Bullcoming, 56, of Hammon, will now spend the rest of his life in federal prison.

The Clinton Public School Board met Aug. 10 to discuss the upcoming school year and what teachers and students should expect in the coming months.
