Ideas abound for improvements and projects City leaders and citizens of Clinton alike hope to see come to life over the coming years but with funding always an issue, the City’s newest Capital Improvement Plan spans the next five years of identified projects to help steer the City moving forward.
Custer County’s Friends for Life Animal Society sits just south of Clinton with a mission of providing a caring, safe and loving environment for abused and abandoned animals and finding them forever homes, something that has become more of a challenge as the shelter’s population continues to grow but adoptions become less and less and volunteers become difficult to find.
