Custer County’s Friends for Life Animal Society sits just south of Clinton with a mission of providing a caring, safe and loving environment for abused and abandoned animals and finding them forever homes, something that has become more of a challenge as the shelter’s population continues to grow but adoptions become less and less and volunteers become difficult to find.
