Lucas wants update on cattle market inquiry

Congressman Frank Lucas (R-OK) joined Congressman Michael Guest (R-MS) and Congressman Darren Soto (D-FL) in sending a bipartisan letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland requesting the U.S. Department of Justice provide updates or a final report to Congress on the DOJ’s investigations into anticompetitive conduct within the beef industry.

The wheat harvest in Oklahoma is set to begin at the end of this week with an average harvest of wheat predicted for this season, according to those in the know.
