Clinton resident Chauncy Bolden, 41, allegedly entered Fast Cash attempting to cash a $2,500 check June 16. Bolden allegedly claimed that the check was given to him by Louise Sam, 87, who wanted him to cash it.
The Clinton Public School Foundation Board of Trustees opened the nomination process for the 2021 Pettle Outstanding Contribution to Education Award. Clinton’s City Council members called a special meeting Tuesday evening to discuss and take action on the potential condemnation of three properties. Code Enforcement Officer Toby Anders recommended all properties should be condemned as they are a nuisance and fire hazard to the town.
