Turkey vultures have made Clinton home over the past few years. According to Animal Control Officer Heather Estrada, this is because buzzards, including the string of turkey buzzards, learn to adapt in towns. They do not live in wooden areas.

On Monday, Congressman Frank Lucas, who represents rural Oklahoma, joined New Mexico Congressman Tom Emmer in sending a bipartisan letter to U.S. Department of Health & Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra, expressing concern regarding the updated Provider Relief Fund reporting requirements and how it affects rural hospitals.
