With the 99th annual Custer County Free Fair comes plenty of livestock to be shown, with students from all over the county taking part in the competitions. Here are some of the results for the various different shows during the event.

Unofficially the Ward 3 race for the Clinton City Council has been determined. Erin Adams garnered 67.6% of the vote with 169 ballots cast her way.

Information about two area crashes was released Friday by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Neither accident involved fatalities but did see people injured.

The theme of Friday’s annual Clinton Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet may have been “Boots, Bling, & Business,” but as the case has been many times before, the actual theme was “Service,” as all of the award winners proved to be emblematic of the character trait.

At Monday’s meeting of the Custer County commissioners, officials discussed plans in moving forward as well as tying up loose ends, while continuing to encourage the public to be safe and exercise caution on county roads.
