Sheriff Day attends NSA Convention

Custer County Sheriff Dan Day attended the annual National Sheriffs’ Association (NSA) Convention June 21-24 in Phoenix, Ariz. After touring the Arizona state border, Day learned how much all states are affected by it.

Car flees in-town wreck

A two-car accident with injuries around 5 p.m. Thursday in the 1000 block of Gary Boulevard allegedly turned into a hit-and-run, as one of the vehicles involved jetted away from the scene.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol was called to a personal injury collision around 8:30 p.m. Thursday approximately 10 miles west of Clinton on Interstate 40.
