Clinton Public Schools Superintendent Tyler Bridges is ready to present a long-term capital improvement plan for the district to the public. Open forums will be available Nov. 29 at Nance Elementary School, Dec. 1 at Southwest Elementary and Dec. 2, 9 and 14 at Clinton Middle School. All forums will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Star for one who served

Hurd enjoying recent career change

Jerome Hurd recently had a career change in his life. Around a month ago, Hurd accepted a call to work at Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home after working at Acme Brick Park taking care of the fields there.

The Oklahoma Western Heifer Show is this weekend at the Custer County Fairgrounds in Clinton. Co-show organizer Jeff Hunter said this event is a livestock show for junior exhibitors, and it is open to anyone in Oklahoma and surrounding states.
