The Custer County Sheriff’s Office responded to an attempted suicide on the east side of the county on 1070 Road Friday evening. Sheriff Dan Day said this was the third suicide attempt his officers had responded to that week. He said fortunately none were successful.
During their regular meeting Monday morning, Custer County commissioners approved ballot wording for the county’s half-penny sales tax that will be voted on Feb. 8, 2022.
The City of Clinton has an ordinance issued for the use of golf carts within town that was put into place several years ago. According to the city, it is to help keep all travelers within town safe while driving on the road.
