A structure fire occurred to a duplex unit Sunday afternoon at 18 Lombardy Place. Clinton Fire Department arrived on the scene two minutes after the call was received. Firefighters were able to put out the fire before it could damage the second duplex unit.

A low bid of $386,000 from Nurnberg Roofing of Corn was accepted Monday morning by Custer County commissioners for a new roof on the County Jail.
