DEAR HARRIETTE: My friend lost her mother a couple of years ago, and she is still grieving a lot. I do my best to take her feelings into consideration when I see or talk to her, especially when it comes to mentioning my own mother. I feel somehow that it upsets her to hear that my mother is still alive. But this puts me in an awkward situation, as I'm dealing with all kinds of stuff because my mom is elderly and has her struggles. I need to talk about my life, too. How do you think I should address this with my friend? – Reality Check

Dear Doctors: My company called the employees back to the office, and I'm dreading it. There aren't many windows, and it's all fluorescent lights. Being able to be outdoors while working from home has been great. I know I'm less depressed when I get to be in daylight. Is there any science behind that?
DEAR HARRIETTE: I am a college graduate, and I cannot find a decent-paying job. I've been looking for almost five years now, to no avail. I have friends who didn't even go to school, and they've been able to secure jobs making triple the amount I'm offered because of their experience. I'm beginning to think college was a waste of time and money. How can I manifest a decent-paying job? – College Grad
