Local police have arrested Brandon Cody Harrison, 39, of Clinton, for alleged indecent exposure following two incidents in the 500 block of North Eighth Street on June 6 and 7.

Goodbye, leaves

Opal Smith, and her brother, Arlo, spent a portion of their time Tuesday clearing leaves, debris and trash from downtown Frisco Avenue.

On the second Monday in June, county treasurer’s offices across the state hold a delinquent tax home sale that is open to the public. Houses up for sale this past Monday by Custer County were those for which the owners had been delinquent on their property taxes the past four years.

As of press time Wednesday, incumbent Art Lloyd had filed for re-election to his Ward 4 Clinton City Council seat while incumbent Ernie Dowdell had filed for re-election to his Ward 2 council seat according to the Custer County Election Board. On Monday, incumbent David Berrong filed for re-election as Clinton’s mayor.

Schools conduct

The Clinton Public Schools maintenance team has a busy summer ahead with work orders, general repairs preparation for demolition connected with the Capital Improvement Plan.
