The Clinton Economic Development Authority discussed the employment, hiring, appointment, promotion, demotion, disciplining or resignation of Economic Development Director Roland Mower during its regular meeting Tuesday. The authority met in executive session with the public and press bared from attending though no action was taken during that time, and it is unclear what exactly was discussed.

New details have emerged after an altercation early Friday morning led to shots fired and a subject receiving stab wounds in the 900 block of Gary Boulevard. Andrew Wraspir, 22, of Clinton, has been arrested on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon following the incident.

The good times are about to start rolling for Clinton High School alumni with the All-School Reunion set to be held nearly two weeks away and the Clinton Alumni Association has neared the end of planning for the event.
