Very little new information has been released publicly by officials after an incident late Saturday evening in Weatherford left a man dead and police investigating what they are considering a homicide.
Clinton Police were busy early Saturday morning when a call in reference to a suspicious person led to the discovery of a man with a gunshot wound to the leg in the 1600 block of Deputy Drive according to officials. The incident is under investigation and police have yet to identify the victim who was taken by ambulance to OU Medical Center for a gunshot wound to the leg.
