Scissortail Productions is making a musical return to Clinton this Friday with a holiday-themed concert named “Peace, Joy, and Jazz” starting at 7 p.m. at the Clinton Middle School Auditorium.
A Meeting/Event Tourism Grant in the amount of $2,500 for the Oklahoma Western Heifer Show was approved by the Clinton City Council at their Nov. 18 meeting. While there is no set, official criteria an event must meet to qualify for the Meeting/Event Tourism Grant, there are a few aspects and consideration officials take into consideration.
Holiday preparations are underway for the Clinton Chapter of AMBUCS, an organization that raises money to support individuals with mobility challenges within the community.
As of press time Tuesday, there is only one contender for each seat in the election for Clinton and Arapaho-Butler school board seats.

The Clinton Hospital Authority and 3rd Avenue West have agreed to reach a settlement in a civil lawsuit in regard to breach of contract and other claims. As of press time, the Clinton Daily News has not been able to reach the authority or Attorney Richard Mullins for comment as to the details.
