Details regarding an alleged rape in Weatherford were released last week.

Tristen Bailey, 20, was arrested for first-degree rape.

According to the probable cause affidavit filed by Det. Joseph Cox of the Weatherford Police Department, Officer Ryan Hetherington met with a woman and her father who wished to report an alleged rape by the woman’s ex-boyfriend.

Cox wrote in the report the woman told officers Bailey had picked her up Jan. 30 from the dorms at Southwestern Oklahoma State University and took her back to his residence. Once there, he allegedly raped her.

According to the affidavit, Bailey then took her back to the dorms. Later that day, she allegedly went back to Bailey’s residence after being convinced to do so by him.

While at Bailey’s residence, Cox wrote in his report Bailey allegedly raped her a second time.

The woman returned to her dorm room around 1 a.m. according to the affidavit. She then proceeded to call her friend and then her parents regarding the incident.

According to Cox’s report, her father drove to Weatherford immediately and took her to the police station to file a report.

While speaking with officers, the woman said she and Bailey had dated for nearly two years before ending the relationship two months prior to the incident.

According to the report, the woman showed Cox a text conversation with Bailey after the incident in which she told him not to do that to her again. He replied by saying, “I won’t. I won’t do that to anyone ever again … . I don’t want to hurt you especially. I can’t. I will literally kill myself before I do that again.”

On Feb. 1 at 1:50 a.m., Cox interviewed Bailey at the police station. According to the affidavit, Bailey admitted to having intercourse with her even though she told him to stop.

Bailey was placed under arrest and transported to the Custer County Jail.
