The Masonic Charity Foundation along with Masonic Lodges across Oklahoma have given the first $1,000,000 endowment established with the Oklahoma FFA Foundation.

“The Masonic Charity Foundation of Oklahoma has invested heavily in Oklahoma communities and students through financial support and recognition programs over many decades,” said John Logan executive director.›“Our outreach has not been limited to a specific region, but to any student in a public school whose community hosted a Masonic Lodge.›We observe that FFA similarly serves students all across our state in communities large and small.”

The Masonic Lodges in Oklahoma recognize how the FFA trains its student members and is devoted to its future.

“The ideals of leadership, self-reliance, and integrity taught in the FFA program are values we recognize as important, and as the foundations for a successful life.›As a testimonial of our respect for these values and our support of their continued presence in programs available to our students, we determined to establish an endowed fund to support FFA programs financially,” Logan said.›“The Masonic Fraternity is proud to establish the FFA Foundation’s first $1 million endowment.”

The MCF Endowed Trust with the Oklahoma FFA Foundation invested at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation will generate approximately $50,000 each year. The fund will support student scholarships and leadership programming.

“We are honored to have the support of the Masonic Fraternity of Oklahoma. This level of investment to our Foundation speaks to their commitment to our students and the future of our programming,” said Holly Blakey, executive director of the Oklahoma FFA Foundation.

“Many people don’t realize the FFA was started by Masonic members and our organizations, to this day, practice many similar traits since our beginning in 1928. It’s the servant leadership, community service and priority of giving to others that I see as the greatest similarities between the Masonic Fraternity of Oklahoma and what we seek to instill in our students.”

Additional contributions may be added to the Masonic fund at any time. Checks made payable to Oklahoma FFA Foundation, can be sent to 1500 W. 7th Ave., Stillwater, OK 74074. Please note the “Masonic trust” with your gift.
