Only one contested race will be staged for this round of city elections in Clinton. Mayor David Berrong and Ward 2 Councilman Ernie Dowdell will assume another two-year term on the city council. Ward 4 Councilman Bobby Stewart will face Mustafa Sami, who once held the position before, in a Nov. 3 election.
