The Clinton Police Department and other law enforcement agencies are searching for an attempted carjacker. The suspect is wearing khaki shorts and a blue shirt and is a thin male in his 20s. Law enforcement officials have established a perimeter near Kmart in the Red Wheat Drive area and ask the public to stay away from the area or to please contact the police department at (580) 323-2323 if they see someone matching the description.
