Charleen Peck was born on March 5, 1932, in Clinton, Oklahoma, to Charley and Bertha (Schultz) Southerland. She passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2025, at her rural home east of Clinton, where she lived for 59 years and raised her family.

Cooper Clay Cruson, 43, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, died on January 21, 2025, after a lengthy illness. Born to Gary and Carla Cruson on July 9, 1981, Cooper grew up in Clinton, OK, graduating with honors from Clinton High School in 2000. Throughout his youth, he enjoyed all sports and was a Red Tornado baseball player for all 4 years of high school, advancing to the State Championship his senior year. He also was a music lover, becoming active in his school’s vocal music program.

He was born Sept. 4, 1933, in Hobart. He died Jan. 24, 2025, in Rison, Ark.
