SHAWNEE – The Southwestern Oklahoma State University Cross Country team opened up the 2021 season with a second place finish at the Oklahoma Baptist University Invitational Saturday afternoon.

WOODWARD – The first win of 2021 is in the books.
CLINTON – The Clinton Middle School football teams opened their season against Cache Thursday evening. The seventh graders started things off with a 14-0 setback. The eighth grade fell just short losing 26-14.
WEATHERFORD – The Southwestern Oklahoma State Universtiy football team made their return to the gridiron Thursday night as they hosted Henderson State in the SWOSU Kickoff Classic.
HYDRO –The Clinton Lady Reds went 1-1 at the Hydro Festival Tuesday, blanking Seiling 4-0 before a 3-0 setback versus Hammon.
Class A No. 6 Arapaho-Butler Lady Indians picked up back-to-back wins this week after upending Blair 17-0 and a 10-0 drubbing of Thomas-Fay- Custer.
Fall sports at Clinton High School have been in full swing, and are just getting started. Softball, volleyball, cheer, cross country and football have each had a good start to their respective seasons.
