Frazier ushered in golden era of Clinton football

When one thinks of Clinton football and head coaches, most will mention Mike Lee. Some may think of Dave Meadows, and both are well deserving to be mentioned when Clinton football comes up in any conversation, but the one that brought the first state championship to Clinton was Jim Frazier. I had the pleasure of talking to him this past weekend. Here is some of his story about how he came to Clinton, the success he had here and about some of the players he coached while at Clinton.

Gaunt named

Clinton’s Gage Gaunt appeared to have Mid-America Christian’s number last weekend when USAO’s baseball team played host at Chickasha.

The Arapaho-Butler

The Arapaho-Butler sixth-grade girls’ basketball team placed runner-up in the end of season tournament for the Clinton Youth Basketball League

Oklahoma State men’s basketball was selected to the National Invitational Tournament (NIT) for the 13th time in program history, it was announced Sunday night. The Cowboys were named a No. 1 seed in the NIT and will face Youngstown State.

For the 21st time since 2000, the Oklahoma Sooners are dancing and will play in the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship. The regular season Big 12 champion Sooners received an at-large bid and will play in the Greenville Region I as the No. 5 seed.
