Lady Reds take first in Elk City tourney

On a cold and windy day, the Clinton Lady Reds golf team participated in the Patsy Poole Invitational in Elk City where the Lady Reds won with a combined card of 345.

Locals finish as runner-ups in Elk City basketball league

Across the course of five weeks and with a total of nine teams playing at the Arrowhead Center in Elk City as a part of the Swish City basketball league, one team from Clinton, the Vipers, came in second after dropping the title game.

CHS golf takes home fourth place in W’ford

After a long day of golfing at the Prairie West Golf Course in Weatherford, the Clinton Red Tornado boys’ golf team came away with a fourth-place finish after it shot a combined 340.

Former Clinton Reds baseball player, Caden Powell, will be on the move next year, as he is committed to playing for the Oklahoma State University Cowboys baseball team after playing for the Seminole State Trojans this year.

Reds baseball falls in Weatherford

After inclement weather put a hold on the first game of the baseball version of the “Custer County Conflict” in Weatherford Monday, both Clinton (8-12) and Weatherford were able to finish the game Wednesday. The Eagles won 5-0.
