Jimmy Lynn Burden, aged 69, passed away on May 3, 2026, in Clinton, Oklahoma. Born on March 9, 1957, to Van and Edith (Ward) Burden, Jim was raised in the Foss and Clinton area and graduated from Canute High School in Canute, Oklahoma.

He was one of eight children and is lovingly remembered by his sisters, Ruby Mowry of Oklahoma City, Mary Richardson and her husband Duane of Butler, Oklahoma, along with many nieces and nephews.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Van and Edith Burden, and five siblings: Archie, Frank, Maxine, Lois, and Gene.

A graveside service to honor Jim’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at the Clinton Cemetery in Clinton, Oklahoma.

Jim’s family and all who knew him will cherish his memory and the time they shared together.

Services are in the care of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home, Clinton, Oklahoma.
