Funeral Services for Elizabeth Richardson, 96, lifelong Custer County resident, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 2, 2019, in the Freewill Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Charles Murphy. Burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.

May Elizabeth Richardson was born November 3, 1922, to John Franklin Passmore and Essie Hazel (May) Passmore in Butler, Oklahoma, and passed away Monday, October 28, 2019, in the Clinton Therapy and Living Center in Clinton, OK.

Elizabeth was raised in Butler and graduated from Arapaho High school in 1940. She was married to Howard Richardson March 26, 1949, in Clinton. They made their home in Clinton and she had a long career with the Clinton Public Schools as the head cook, retiring in 1987.

She was a longtime member of the Freewill Baptist Church, and enjoyed quilting, going on walks, traveling and working in her garden.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, grandson, Robert Richardson, brother, Merlin Passmore, and sisters, Eloise Jones and Gerri Goucher.

She is survived by a son, Darryl Richardson and wife, Jalanda, of Clinton, a sister, Janice Huckins and husband, Jimmy, of Thomas, OK.

She is also survived by three grandchildren, Kelley Richardson, of Clinton, Ashley Brummett and husband, James, and Austin Buckner and wife Telisa, all of Carnegie, and five great-grandchildren, Connor Richardson, Abbigale Bilyeu, Alexis Bilyeu, Addilyn Brummett and James Brummett, III.
