Overpass construction

Construction continues on the west side of the overpass bridge where Interstate 40 and U.S. Highway 183 meet. Excavation and foundation work is seen as part of the infrastructure improvements at the interchange.

The Clinton Public Schools Board of Education approved the hiring of three educators and administrators, received construction updates, approved an energy savings contract and celebrated a retiring principal during its monthly meeting Monday. Also on the agenda were the resignations of several key staff members and a longserving board member.

Clinton High School recently recognized Jabez Gonzales and Aliah Adair as the April Red Tornado Boy and Girl for their academic achievements, extracurricular involvement, and community service throughout their high school careers.
