CEDA green lights final Glancy demo

The remaining buildings left behind at the Glancy Property will soon officially see demolition to make way for a new Oklahoma Highway Patrol headquarters after the Clinton Economic Development Authority officially authorized City Manager Robert Johnston to open bids for demolition of the remaining structures on the property located at 217 Gary Blvd. during a special meeting Tuesday.

New details in homicide

New information has been released by officials after a man was found dead late Saturday evening in a Weatherford apartment. Police have charged Rodolfo Rivera Sotelo, 20, of Weatherford, with first-degree murder stemming from an investigation into the incident. Those who have any information regarding the suspect’s whereabouts are asked to call the Weatherford Police Department at 580-7727791, or their local police department or 911.

Principal Taylor appointed chair

Nance Elementary Principal Janalyn Taylor was recently named the Cooperative Council for Oklahoma School Administration (CCOSA) Executive Committee (CEC) Chairperson.
