Many roads, bridges and drainage systems in Custer County suffered varying degrees of damage in this year’s heavy rainfalls, and it will take time before all repairs are completed.

Two Arizona men died Tuesday as the result of a single-vehicle accident on I-40 west of Hinton.
Dead are Junior R. Harper, 78, and Michael Dean Peters, 43, both of Springer-ville, Ariz.
